Every month
Up to $10 per month on monthly phone service bought directly from a U.S. wireless provider. Hardware, Google Fi, resellers and bundled TV or internet service don't count.
Every quarter
Up to $50 per calendar quarter on eligible purchases made directly with a Hilton-portfolio property. Requires a Hilton for Business account, which is created when you enroll. Gift cards are excluded.
How to activate: Enroll in the Amex app or website with your Hilton Honors number.
Up to $90 per calendar quarter on purchases with Indeed (job postings and hiring).
Every 6 months
Up to $300 Jan–Jun and up to $300 Jul–Dec on prepaid FHR or The Hotel Collection bookings made through Amex Travel with the card. The Hotel Collection needs a 2-night minimum stay.
Every year
Up to $200 per calendar year for incidental fees (bags, seat fees, in-flight purchases etc.) charged by one selected qualifying airline. You must pick the airline. Airfare does not count.
How to activate: Pick your one qualifying airline in the Amex app or website before the fees are charged.
Up to $219 per calendar year toward an auto-renewing CLEAR+ membership paid with the card (taxes and fees excluded).
Up to $150 per calendar year on U.S. purchases made directly with Dell Technologies. It was cut from $400 in the Sept 2025 refresh.
An extra $1,000 statement credit once you spend $5,000 or more with Dell in the same calendar year. It is part of the 'up to $1,150' Dell benefit.
How to activate: Enroll in the Dell credit in the Amex app or website; the one enrollment also covers the $1,000 bonus.

Up to $300 per calendar year on U.S. purchases of ChatGPT Business made directly with OpenAI. Added May 12, 2026. ChatGPT Business needs at least 2 seats, and the consumer ChatGPT Plus plan does not qualify.
A single $250 statement credit per calendar year once U.S. Adobe purchases on the card reach $600.

Up to $1,200 in statement credits on flights booked at AmexTravel.com. Usable Jan 1–Dec 31 of the year after the year you hit $250K in spend.

Every few years
Either a $120 Global Entry credit or up to $85 for TSA PreCheck (official enrollment provider), once every 4 years. The application fee must be charged to the card.

Free entry for the cardmember to Centurion Lounges (within 3 hours of departure, or up to 5 hours before a connecting flight) and Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge (within 90 minutes). Since July 8, 2026 guests must be on the same flight as the cardmember. Guests cost $50 each ($30 ages 2–17), or 2 guests are free per visit after $75K spend in a calendar year.
10 visits per year (Feb 1 to Jan 31) when flying a same-day Delta flight, not on Basic Economy; a Grab and Go pickup also uses a visit. Unlimited after $75K spend in a calendar year. Extra visits and up to 2 guests cost $50 each.
Unlimited lounge visits after enrolling, with up to 2 guests free per visit where the lounge allows guests. Priority Pass restaurants and other non-lounge spots are not included with the Amex membership.

Before you apply
American Express’s application rules, as reported by people who applied. Banks don’t publish most of these. All banks’ rules
No more than two new Amex credit cards in a 90-day span. Charge cards such as Platinum, Gold and Green are left out of the count. A third credit card application within 90 days is usually turned down.
One new Amex credit card every 5 days at most. A second application within 5 days usually sits in pending until the 5 days are up.
You can usually have up to 5 Amex credit cards open at the same time. Charge cards are separate. With 5 open, new Amex credit cards get declined. Closing or downgrading one frees a spot.
