Blue Cash Preferred vs Savor
By Quy Dinh · Updated Oct 24, 2026
The short answer
If you spend more than about $3,200 a year at U.S. supermarkets, the Blue Cash Preferred: 6% there (on up to $6,000) and on streaming beats the Savor’s 3%, even after the $95 fee. Below that, or if you eat out and buy entertainment a lot, the Savor does as well for $0.
Abroad, take the Savor: the Blue Cash Preferred charges a 2.7% foreign transaction fee.
