How it works
You get up to $150 in statement credits from January through June, and another $150 from July through December, on tickets bought directly from StubHub or viagogo.
You have to activate it once in your Chase account first. Purchases made before you activate don't count.
There's no minimum purchase. Unused credit doesn't carry over to the next half of the year. The benefit runs through December 31, 2027.
What it looks like when it works
- A separate statement credit from Chase on your Sapphire Reserve, apart from the StubHub or viagogo charge, for up to what's left of that half-year's $150.
How long it takes
Chase says the credit should post within 3 business days, but it can take up to 4 weeks after the charge posts.
Why it didn’t post
Chase says purchases made before the offer is activated aren't eligible. Activate it in your Chase account's card benefits now so your next purchase counts.
Only purchases made directly on StubHub's or viagogo's own website or app count. Tickets from other ticket sites don't, even for the same event.
UK events are sold on StubHub's separate UK site, which isn't part of the offer, so those purchases don't qualify.
Each half ends at 11:59 PM ET on June 30 and December 31. A late-processed charge can count toward the next half instead. Check whether the next half's $150 was used.
The credit must be available when you buy. Once $150 has posted for the half, more tickets are charged in full until the next half starts.
StubHub and viagogo gift cards don't count.
Chase may take back the credit if the purchase is returned, canceled or changed.
What doesn’t count
- Purchases made before you activated the benefit
- StubHub or viagogo gift cards
- Tickets bought on StubHub's UK site, including UK events
- Tickets bought on other ticket sites
Still missing? Do this
- Check that the benefit shows as activated in your Chase account.
- Check that the charge is from StubHub or viagogo and has posted, not just pending.
- Wait up to 4 weeks after the charge posts.
- Still nothing? Call the number on the back of your card, name the StubHub credit, and give the purchase date and amount. You can also ask them how much credit you have left.

Does unused credit carry over?
No. Each half-year's $150 is lost if you don't use it by June 30 or December 31.
Is there a minimum ticket price?
No. Chase says there's no minimum purchase.
Check a whole statement at once. Premium Finance, our free app, reads the statement PDF or CSV you download from your bank (on your phone, nothing is uploaded) and shows which credits posted, then reminds you before the rest run out. Open the app or try it with a sample wallet.
